What areas do you cover?
We're based in Kildare and cover all of Kildare, Dublin, and the surrounding counties. See our full coverage areas page for details. As a fully mobile service, we come to your home or workplace. We bring our own water and power so there's no hassle on your end.
How long does a full detail take?
It depends on the size and condition of the vehicle. A Deep Clean takes around 4-5 hours. A Single Stage Detail or New Car Protection is typically a full day. We never rush the job.
Do I need to provide water or electricity?
Nope! We're completely self-sufficient. Our mobile unit carries its own water supply and power generator, so we can work anywhere. All we need is access to your vehicle and enough space to work around it.
What is paint correction?
Paint correction is a multi-step compounding and polishing process that removes swirl marks, oxidation and light scratches from your paint. The result is a showroom-level finish. We often bundle it with ceramic coating so the flawless finish is protected for years.
Is ceramic coating an add-on or a standalone service?
Ceramic coating is available as a standalone service (POA) or included in our Single Stage Detail and New Car Protection packages. Our ceramic coatings last 5-7 years. For best results, we recommend pairing it with paint correction so the coating goes onto a perfectly clean, corrected surface.
Do prices change for bigger vehicles?
Yes. We have four size tiers: Small, Medium, Large and X-Large, each with its own price. You can use our quote calculator for an estimate, or get in touch for an exact price.
Do you offer gift vouchers?

Can you work on commercial vehicles and fleets?
Absolutely. We detail everything from vans and trucks to full commercial fleets. We offer regular maintenance contracts to keep your vehicles looking professional year-round. Get in touch for a custom fleet quote.

Are you fully insured?
Yes. Cruz Detailing is fully insured and fully registered. You can have complete peace of mind knowing your vehicle is in safe, professional hands.
How long does ceramic coating last?
Our standard ceramic coating lasts 5-7 years depending on maintenance. For our premium packages like Single Stage Detail and New Car Protection, we use a 7-year 10H ceramic coating from Reign that offers the highest level of durability and protection available.
Do you work in the rain?
Light drizzle is generally fine for most services, but heavy rain can affect the quality of paint correction and ceramic coating application. If the weather turns bad, Sean will get in touch to reschedule at no extra cost. We always prioritise doing the job right over rushing through it.
Do I need to be home during the detail?
Not at all! As long as we have access to your vehicle and enough space to work around it, you're free to go about your day. Many of our clients book us while they're at work. Just leave the keys somewhere accessible and we'll take care of the rest.
What's the difference between a Deep Clean and a Single Stage Detail?
The Deep Clean (€190–€220 +VAT) is a thorough inside-and-out refresh with decontamination wash, ceramic protection, and full interior steam clean. It also gets you onto our maintenance scheme. The Single Stage Detail (€499–€799 +VAT) goes further with engine bay overhaul, clay bar, enhancement polish to remove 70-90% of paint swirling, and IPA panel wipe. Think of the Deep Clean as regular upkeep and the Single Stage as a full rejuvenation.
Can you detail commercial vehicles and vans?
Absolutely! We regularly detail vans, motorhomes, and commercial vehicles. These fall under our X-Large pricing tier. We've worked on everything from VW Transporters to large motorhomes. Get in touch for a specific quote.
I just bought a new car - should I get it detailed?
Definitely! In fact, the sooner the better. Our New Car Protection package (€699-€999 +VAT) is specifically designed for this. Dealers often wash new cars with harsh chemicals that can damage paint. We recommend asking the dealer NOT to prep or wash the car, then handing it straight to us. We'll apply a 7-year 10H ceramic coating that will keep it looking showroom-fresh for years.
Are your prices the same for all car sizes?
No - our prices vary by vehicle size. We have four tiers: Small (e.g. Fiat 500, Polo), Medium (e.g. BMW 3 Series, Golf), Large (e.g. BMW 5 Series, Tucson), and X-Large (e.g. Range Rover, Transporter). The prices shown on our site are starting prices. All prices exclude VAT.
